Area sensors

Area sensors monitor a whole work area without a dead zone rather than a single point. Protective light curtains are optoelectronic devices consisting of a transmitter and a receiver, used wherever hazardous areas must be reliably safeguarded; depending on the model they meet Type 2 / SIL 1 or Type 4 / SIL 3.

Typical applications are access control and hazardous-area control on robotic modules and production lines. LiDAR sensors are also available. Send us the size of the area and the required safety level.
