Air preparation

Air preparation units condition compressed air before it reaches cylinders, valves and other pneumatic components. Filters remove moisture and solid particles — normally from 5 to 40 microns, down to 0.01 microns with special elements — and a manual, semi-automatic or automatic drain removes the condensate.

Pressure regulators hold the pressure at the set value, normally within 0.5 to 8.5 bar, and lubricators feed oil into the system to extend the life of moving parts.
